For 2010, Huckin Huge based out of Auburn, California. The area is notorious for amazing whitewater within minutes of downtown. As the season winds down, the Bear River is a saving grace and has some entertaining sections to keep the skillz tight. Laps on the “Hair of the Bear” become the norm and while on one of these “lap sessions” with local, Robby Hogg, he mentioned a waterfall in the drainage that had never received much attention. Returning this February to Auburn for the year and randomly sitting at river bank, we decided to go check this out. Here’s some shots and video from some sunny days at the falls.
